Our Continued Commitment to Sustainability and ESG
Humans cannot deny the climate changes happening around the globe. In Florida, where The Leadership Hospital is headquartered, we certainly cannot deny the changes happening to our environment. We experience biodiversity loss due to hurricanes and environmental destruction from the impacts of tornadoes at a regular and increasingly rapid rate. The environment around us continues to change.
At The Leadership Hospital, we understand the importance of the environment and love the beautiful Florida beaches, springs, and parks around us. In 2025, we are committed to business practices to reduce our impact.
- A commitment to maintain a 100% remote workforce to remove the negative impacts that a daily office commute has on the local environment.
- We aim for at least 90% of our projects to be virtual. Our goal for the year is to maximize our virtual offering to minimize the impact that our team’s travel has on the environment.
- This year, we launched a volunteer initiative. We encourage folks to invest time volunteering for local environmental clean-up initiatives twice a year.
- We are exploring carbon offsets and how we might integrate that form of sustainability into our work soon.
As a certified diverse vendor within the global supply chain, we understand the impact of the social aspect of sustainability on business practices.
- We are committed to maintaining our diversity certifications with NGLCC, WBENC, and DisabilityIN to support our clients, who track their diversity spending to help them achieve their ESG targets.
- Our online vendor registration form encourages certified diverse vendors to do business with us as a supplier.
- We aim to spend 15% annually with certified diverse vendors.
- Diversity, inclusion, and belonging are essential to who we are as an organization. We value the diversity of folks who serve in our Leadership Network and as internal support providers.
